- לָצוּתf. (preced.) 1) scorn, lasciviousness. Cant. R. to III, 4 (play on פלצות, Is. 21:4) פה שהוא מפיץ דברי ל׳ the mouth which spreads words of lasciviousness; ע״י שנפקו לדבר ל׳ because they went out for lascivious entertainment; cmp. לֵיצָנוּתָא. 2) sport, pleasure. Tosef.Sabb.VI (VII), 4 שתהא לה ל׳ that she may be entertained; Yalk. Lev. 587 שהתחילה לצאת (corr. acc.).
